Souls of Anatemia, Book 1: Playing the Game

A group of online computer game players are sucked into the game they play becoming their characters. Left with no idea what’s going on, mostly separated from one-another, and facing the prospect of new lives as new people they flounder wildly trying to get to grips with their situation and wondering whether each of them is alone. First things first, get some idea of what has happened? and when or if…they’ll be going home?

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 2: Making the House

Having learned that all 8 from earth are here scattered across this world they resolve to meet in the leveller city of Veii and form a house…Unfortunately and unsurprisingly nothing goes according to plan, captured by pirates or trying to survive being hunted by orcs, anything can, and does, happen……and then there’s what happens when a certain potion is involved…

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 3: Wrath of the Greenskin

Ceilia, an enemy since day 1, and having undergone certain ‘changes’ thanks to that potion now attempts to visit her vengeance on the unsuspecting group of friends. She will set bounty hunters and the demon The Sandman to chase them across the entire continent battling beastmen, demons and the very landscape itself just to survive.

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 4: Questions and Answers

The house start to relax and enjoy some of what Veii has to offer, unbeknownst to them however their nemesis Ceilia pays for allies to capture them all. What was supposed to be a fun afternoon battle game event soon turns into a fight for life as Ceilia and her allies strike…and then turn on each other…can they survive?

…also the goddess Ilyana is created…in the most surreal of circumstances.

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 5: Dance of the Dead

With the curious reality about their friend Orsha finally revealed our heroes need to work a way to rescue her from imprisonment.

To do so they will have to travel to the city of the dead to retrieve a tablet that can summon the dead…and then infiltrate the palace of the king of the elves...with the tablet, which if anyone loses will cause the summoning of the god of the dead…things can only go well…

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 6: Surviving the Hunt

Our adventurers travel to the Burnt Hoike, home of pirates and cowboys fighting over gold and against demons. Steamcar chases, demons, and drunken pirates collide. All the while the Fey lay in wait, watching, ready at moment to pounce on the unsuspecting in this bleak land, and when they do then you had better run…and hope to survive.

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 7: To Trap a Goddess (part 1 of a 2 part story)

The goddess Ilyana has grown from nothing to one of the most important deities in her pantheon in just a few weeks…but all is not well. Her bane Mocus is hatching a plan to capture her and force her to do Mocus’ will. Perhaps on Ilyana’s holy day…it is only 3 days time…

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 8: Rescues and Revelations (part 2 of a 2 part story)

With Mocus having succeeding in capturing the goddess Ilyana her former earthen friends must now traverse the entire continent in an attempt to rescue her. They will have to travel the lands of the dead, face necromancers and crazed zealots…and on way they will uncover the horror of Northolt…and make them question just who the real enemies are? Things are not what they seem…

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 9: Trick or Treat (Part 1 of 2 part story)

It’s Halloween in Anatemia! Or at least something very similar, and as our friends celebrate and embrace the festival an old enemy raises his ugly head. Soon all of our heroes have been transformed into their costumes and transported to where said costumes are relevant in the world. They must survive their transformation as they are now all enemies able to be hunted by every person on the continent and find a way to unite and break their curse…not easy when you’re a ghost, or a demon, or even the spider queen.

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 10: Into Northolt (Part 2 of a 2 part story)

An old friend decides to make use of the heroes having become their Halloween costumes by having them infiltrate the city of Northolt, apparently home of an undead and demonic army. They will have to go undercover and discover exactly what is going on…but what will happen if they are discovered? And with their transformations…will Ilyana be able to find a way to turn them back? Or are they stuck…forever?

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 11: Once Upon a Time

The heroes help look for some friends who have disappeared and in doing so are captured in the same way…They are transported into a fairytale all singing, all dancing world with their memories altered. Somehow they must find a way to regain their memories and escape the world or they will be trapped forever singing about flowers and dragons.

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 12: The Green Queen

Princess Eve heir to the throne of the elves, currently living among the people in secret is kidnapped, taken to the Orc capital, transformed into an Orc and then prepared for marriage to the Orc king, the sole reason for this is for to force the goddess Ilyana to break her word and restore her old enemy Bren to his power. He threatens to use Eve to cause a war between Orcs and Elves if she doesn’t comply. Eve’s friends now undertake an ambitious plan to break into Orc Rock, rescue Eve and expose Bren to the Orcs as the enemy…

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 13: Return to Thoria (part 1 of a 2 part story)
Our heroes complete their levelling finally reaching the pinnacle of the tree, now they can prepare for the major battles ahead and perhaps the ultimate enemy Calvina. First however they undertake a little holiday travelling across the sea to Thoria…where they inadvertently get involved in a diplomatic mission and a dungeon crawl and might just have caused the annihilation of 2 entire species…so kind of a normal holiday for them really.

 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 14: Saving Thoria.
The characters have to deal with what they were tricked into doing, destroying all life on Thoria in a matter of hours...They will have to untie the warring factions on the island as well as defying the leaders of the M'Veya who wish to destroy almost their entire race, just to preserve their place as the leaders...all in just twelve hours.
 

Souls of Anatemia, Book 15: The Necromancer is in. 
Kaylia has been cursed...and she doesn't know it...nor do the others...Cursed to slowly transform into an evil necromancer capable of raising armies in service of Calvina, that would be the man trying to wipe out all life on Anatemia. He's going to command her to perform a great spell...but no-one but her and Calvina knows what it is, it isn't going to be good though that's for sure...First though, she has to hide the changes from her friends as they're happening, a good dungeon should do that, one where she can learn exactly what she's capable of. 

Souls of Anatemia. Books 16/17: The Repetition Game. 
At long last the members of House Self-Preservation Society embark upon the quest that will take them to face the final bad guy by gathering the pieces to the key to the dead city itself. 
Little do they know that every move they make is being watched, and the moment they begin the quest they are unaware they are being toyed with. Someone...is forcing them down a very different path without them knowing, making it as if their worst and weirdest collective experiences are returning to haunt them once again...and where does it end? With the key to city? Or to something much much deeper?
